JP Gladu Board Chair
JP Gladu, is a member of Sand Point First Nation located in Northwestern, Ontario; and holds an Executive MBA from Queens University, ICD.D designation from Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto and a BSF from Northern Arizona University. He recently retired as the President and CEO of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB), spending more than 7 years with the organization. In addition, JP has over 25 years of experience in the natural resource sector. His career path includes work with Aboriginal communities and organizations, environmental non-government organizations, industry and governments from across Canada. He has served on the board of the Ontario Power Generation for the past 4.5 years and also serves on the board of Noront Resources. JP’s previous appointments include Chancellor of St. Paul’s University College Waterloo, Canadian Electricity Association Public Advisory Panel, Colleges and Institutes Canada (previously ACCC), the Northern Policy Institute, Canadian Foundation for Economic Education, advisory member to the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, a committee member to the Provincial Forest Policy Committee.
