March 2025 –Mikisew Group, in partnership with Fourcha and Bare Capital, today announced the acquisition of a prime development site in Edmonton’s Kingsway neighbourhood. Fourcha, which previously held a 50% stake, will continue its commitment as Mikisew Group and Bare Capital acquire the remaining share.

This acquisition sets the stage for the intended development of an affordable multi-family apartment complex in Edmonton’s vibrant Kingsway neighbourhood. Supported by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), this initiative contributes to the broader goal of increasing affordable housing options in Edmonton.

Located at 10809 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton on a 1.07-acre site, the Kingsway development project will feature 240 rental units within a 180,000-square-foot development. Its strategic placement offers convenient access to the Royal Alexandra Hospital, NAIT, Kingsway Mall, Walmart, and other established amenities—making it an ideal choice for students, young professionals, and families.
